The God mode was a feature in windows 7 that was very helpful, I want to know if it also exists in Windows 8 to Customize.
Thanks![]()

Many sites show how to activate God Mode in Win 8.
So called God Mode is not OS specific.
Just got through creating the folder, by default it changes to the Windows Explorer look. Only with all options listed by category. To not offend anyone who sees it, I changed the name to Windows Explorer.
Very nice option indeed! Now I don't have to dig through all of those Explorer options, nor type anything in, hoping for the best match. It's all there, categorized by alphabetical order. Why I didn't do this over 2 & a half years with Windows 7, I'll never know, as God Mode was an option in the early goings with that OS.

Cat,
Thought I'd show you how it looks/displays here
I'm trying to remember if, I have that 'windows explorer' look in 7. I've seen it somewhere, maybe clients' machines but, I know what u mean & it seems it can vary. I do know I've seen it come up differently, doesn't always 'act' the same, in all environments.
Obviously, I've been calling it Control Panel+ I've had it since WELL before I ever heard the term, God Mode, and later, that GM was referring to this CP+, as I called it, that they were the same (thing), LOL. I'm hearing "God Mode', all over the place, this new, earth-shattering, wiz-bang thing... I finally saw what it was & geeesh, I didn't know I had that, never knew it had a name, LOL. Oh, well, if I can't laugh @ myself... it was funny @ the time.
Cheers,
Drew

I thought it was kind of funny at the time myself at the time I heard about it, that's why I didn't set it up. Didn't take it as being for real, I guess, given the name of the app, thought it was a joke. I do recall a couple of members being offended by the name of it, which is why I renamed it to Windows Explorer, though it could be called Control Panel also.
But I do like having access to all functions with a double click of the mouse, it's really cool. Will set it up on my Win 7 installs as I log into them.
