    Default Windows Explorer crashes

    Hi all,

Windows Explorer keeps crashing and restarting every like 4-5 minutes or so, its frustrating because I can be doing something and it pops up in front of whatever I'm doing saying it's crashed, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I would reinstall Win 8 Pro using a Custom (Clean) install. Something is corrupt in your installation.

I agree, because I had an install of 8 Enterprise on my notebook, every time that I inserted a Flash drive, Windows Explorer would crash for a few seconds, then recover.

On the second install, all was fine. However, on that one, I left the MS supplied drivers in place, & didn't use my OEM driver CD to reinstall all of the factory drivers. Just the couple that I needed.
