Windows 8 crash to blcak screen during gaming - Windows 8

Howdy guys,

In the last month I have crashed to black screen 3 or 4 times. no blue. almost seems like it tries to reboot but it doesnt. I have enjoyed windows 8 so far and really did not expect this problem. the most important qustion is that i do not know how to find out the cause. I suspect video drivers but I have updated them due to this machine only being 2 weeks old.

I know you guys have probabaly exerienced the same in windows 8 and waiting for your sincere help.

Type eventvwr in search. go to the windows log>application tab first.

Look for critical errors that say app hang, app crash, or anything that describes the problem. then upload them to us so that we can helps.
