Weird Problem with WINDOWS 8 RELEASE PREVIEW.
I installed windows 8 release preview and been using it for almost a week now without any problems. However, there is this one thing that bothers me. Once push the power button to turn on my machine...
here's what happens when I turn on my machine.
- boot screen shows up
- mouse pointer shows up
- then my machine restarts
- bios shows (as it should)
- boot screen again...
- lock screen shows up
- done.
this has been happening since I installed it. It did not cause any crashes or produced any error codes neither a BSOD. It just does that for some reason but aside from that everything is smooth. Anyone knows what is causing this?

Why not put it aside as it did not cause any crashes?
Never experienced this in Windows 8 CP and won't install RP on my computer before Windows 8 officially released.

Something happened during the installation. Here's what I would do.
Download the iso File once again
Check the Sha 1 Hash to ensure the iso downloaded properly
Burn the iso file to DVD.
Reboot to the DVD and Clean Install Win 8 RP again.
Remember this is still a beta OS and as such there will be problems. You can help minimize those problems by following the installation advice exactly. You should never overwrite your licensed, released OS to install a beta OS. That is asking for problems.
In the past MS has only released beta OS's to a select group of people for testing. In this new OS they released it for everyone. In my opinion this might have been a mistake, but they wanted to see what problems the average person would have. Unfortunately the average person does not always read the fine print about the kinds of problems you can encounter with a beta OS.
