No I haven't. Furthermore, It's not recommended to use such software to update drivers as they tend to install the incorrect drivers....not always but it does happen. It's best to go directly to the driver manufacturer website for the drivers needed.

And then, all too often, the manufacturers website switches you to a Driver site where you're exposed to all sorts of crapola, spyware, PUP's, etc., and not FREE either.

Getting the drivers you need has become a quagmire.

Recently, I spent several hours trying to just get the drivers for a "Sound Blaster Live" sound card.
I finally just gave up and tossed the card in my junk bin.

I found it easier to just buy several new sound cards, that come with their own driver disk.
    Problem solved!

I've never seen that nor have had that problem before.

If your going to toss your old hardware out....pack it up and I'll take it. Seriously...I'll take it.

    Then you're just not looking.

Drivers used to be easy to find and download. NOT SO anymore.

Even Manufacturers sites can take you to DriverGuide.com or some other such site.
Where you can wind up downloading a half dozen files and still not have your driver.
    It's enough to P'off a preacher.

I don't throw anything out. I just file it for future reference.

I've not ever seen this scenario, either.
