I downloaded Win 8 Developer Preview and burned it to DVD. Even though I set my PC to boot from CD Rom it would not boot. So I opened it from the burned DVD and run setup. I also created a partition on my existing hard drive in win 7. While setting it up the only option was to save nothing . And there was no option to place it in a partition, Nor was there an option to save any of my existing Win 7 or any of its files. I went ahead and installed Developer Preview anyway. My questions here are: When the Developer Preview time expires will I be able to recover my Windows 7?, Or will I only be able to upgrade to Windows 8?. If my Win 7 was not saved maybe I can't do anything.
