Hello,

I bought a Lenovo Ideapad laptop a few days ago. I tried doing partitioning using AOMEI software. My c drive has 884GB of space. So, i kept 84GB in c drive and created a new drive with 800GB of memory. When I clicked on the 'apply' button, the system has restarted and it went to Pre-os mode for creating the partition. After the process, it restarted again. From then, the screen displays nothing. It just shows me a black screen. I'm not able to access my laptop. I don't know what to do. Please help me in solving this issue.

Hi,

You said your computer is newly bought, so you may bring your computer to after-sales service. They may have a quick solution. Bedides, I wonder to know when does the black screen appears? Can you press F8 when restart and enter a screen with a lot of options, like "enter safe mode, back to last known health configuration". You can take a look at this post: Upgrade install to Windows 7 results in a black/blank screen after - Microsoft Community (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_install/upgrade-install-to-windows-7-results-in-a/ab43493b-247c-427e-ba21-4950eea279ac?page=1&tm=1368759880750) there are some people solved this problem, hope it could also help you.

After I press on the power button, it displays Lenovo and in the second screen it displays as 'Loading System..' The next screen is a black. Even, the F8 button idea also did not work for me. I tried pressing the F8 button for 2-3 times before the system starts booting screen. My laptop has windows 8 but not windows 7. I should meet the after-sales service for help.

You have to continually tap the F8 button, not just 2 or 3 times, tap it until that screen pops up.

Hello mrspecky,

We are so sorry for the problem this time you encountered. If you have a WinPE recovery disc, please boot from the disc to delete a file called "ampa.exe" in this path "C:/Windows", after that your computer will come back to normal. If you do not have such a recovery disc, you may use BartPE to create one.

Once again, we sincerely apologize for all the inconvenience.

Best Regards,
AOMEI Support Team
