Hi, guys

Coming here for some help because you guys have just fixed all my problems in the past.
Briefly, i am not a perfectionist, itdoesn't matter for the little icon. Everytime when I finished the installation work of some new software i will be very unhappy because on my pc icons seem to rest themselves to a white (horrible looking) icon.

I have tried reseting the icon manually in its properties and reseting the iconcache but nothing happens. I also googled this error up for a long time and come up with no luck.

By the way, i am using windows 8 beta 64 bit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hope this might helps.

If your desktop icons are redrawing too frequently or are corrupt, it could be because the icon cache is full. Try increasing the size by changing this setting.
