Now, Windows 8 Pad and iPad Mini are all very hot, I want to buy one for me. However, I am not sure which one I should choose, Windows 8 or iPad Mini?

PS: I love watching movies and listen to music.

There is no question which is better. Win 8 RT. It will integrate with other devices much better, laptops, desktops, phones, etc. If the pad you get has Win 8 or Win 8 Pro installed that is even better.

Win 8 RT is the Win 8 version that can be used on ARM devices. These lower powered devices are on the same par with iPad. A higher powered level tablet will have either Win 8 (Standard edition) or Win 8 Pro. These are the full fledged OS. Unfortunately these devices will have a higher price as well.

Windows 8 PAD? Do you mean Windows 8 surface? I like Windows 8 Surface, just my opinion.

Hey, Medico, thanks for your kind answer. However, I still have a problem, does the iPad Mini can support installing Windows 8? IF not which pad can support Windows 8 well?

Hey, threeone. I mean the Pad that can support windows 8 OS. I have heard that the HP TouchPad has been testing Windows 8 for a time, and I decide to buy a pad and I also want to use Windows 8, so I ask this question here.

Sorry for any misunderstanding.

There are many tablets that have been developed for Win 8. threeone has listed many threads in General Discussions about various devices.

The Apple structure will not load Win 8 without some kind of 3rd party app. I'm talking about PC's here. The iPad is not capable because there is not nearly enough memory for this, even if the hardware were capable, which it is not.

It is really a great pity that iPad cant support installing windows 8. However, iPad and iPad Mini are all good products for video and audio playback.

Hey, gabrielle. As the saying goes, you can't eat your cake and have it, too. So, please forget to compare iPad Mini and windows 8 pad. They are both good but they both have disadvantages.
