View Full Version : Windows 8 App Store can't connect to the Internet

Hi all,

I installed Windows 8 PRO yesterday, everything works fine. Just one problem- I cant go to app store at metro start screen. Windows 8 App Store can't connect to the Internet, I am sure internet works fine as I tried Internet Explorer from the Desktop, that works fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Bub,

2 suggestions:

1. Wait & try again, in a few hours or tomorrow.
2. Uninstall the APP & re-install it.

If you don't know how to do the 2nd, be glad to instruct you.

Method 1:

Open Start and go to Date and Time
Then change timezone, to yours
Go to Internet time, and set the time zone to yours, aswell

Method 2:

Open Start and go to Internet Settings
Then go to Connections
Click on LAN Settings
Check Automatic settings (The one at the top)
Uncheck Use a proxy server (The one at the bottom)
Save and then open Store again
