Hi Team,

I am currently using HP Pavilion Laptop dv6000 with Windows Vista installed on it. My system passes the minimum requirements required for installing Windows 8. However when I try to install Windows 8 using a dual boot Setup on a new partition, I get the following error at some stage of the installation process "The installation was canceled. Windows cannot install required files. The files may be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code: 0x80070570".
I presume it is a case of maybe corrupt ISO file. I downloaded the ISO from the official site.
I presume the only fix for this error is to try downloading the file once again or do you guys have some other suggestions??

All the info I was able to find tells of a corrupt ISO file. Try downloading again, then check the Sha-1 Hash (I use Hash Tab (http://implbits.com/HashTab/HashTabWindows.aspx)for this). Once you install Hash Tab, it will add a tab to the properties of the ISO file to allow you to check. Compare this against the published hash on the download site.

Burn to a new DVD using a slow burn (4X max) and try again.
