hey, everybody

Coming here for some help because you guys have fixed all my problems in the past.
in my spare time, i'd like to classify all my folders and put the favorites things such as photoes, music and films in the favorites folder.
But suddenly I found that although I can see the subfolder in windows 8 explorer, it doesn't show up in the folder tree on the left. Even if I go to the subfolder, it still doesn't show up in the tree on the left.

I can not understand this phenomenon with my own experience.
Anyone can tell me what could be causing this? of course, come up with solutions is much better.
many thanks in advance.

I think there is folder tree somewhere. However, it is removed temporarily by Microsoft, cause the URL of the folder is clickable, which means you can browse folder free easily there.

So just forget that feature. It only belongs to Windows XP. Now that we are using Windows 8, we should accept advanced features of it.

Windows 8's default doesn't show all folders. Go to "folder options" and at the bottom is the navigation pane options, check "show all folders" then OK. That should do the trick for ya if I understand you correctly.
