My volume level will randomly lower to a very low volume level. The only workaround I have found is to either raise the volume level up very high or switch to another audio device.

This problem happens when I watch recorded TV in Media Center and play game, like BF 3.

Any suggestion?

I would check the audio drivers. Go to the manufacturer's web site to either see if there are any Win 8 specific drivers or possibly see about using the Win 7 drivers.
