Hi,

Running windows 8 release preview.

I am trying to download the zip file in IE 10. But when I download, I did not receive any notification of download but instead, I see characters on a blank page, which I assume is my zip file.

I tried on another computer running windows server 2008 R2 with IE 9 and it worked just fine.

Is there problem of IE 10?

Are you using IE 10 Metro edition or IE 10 Desktop version? I do not believe the IE 10 Metro edition is completed.

It is most likely a problem with IE10. You might try another browser.

IE10 will download zip files just fine. Make sure you are using IE from the Desktop not, the (I)Explorer APP.

You do not need to add WinRAR to Windows8

I've found that life is just so much simpler, when I use Firefox, instead of I.E. and set FF to download everything to the desktop. Then set FF for automatic updates.
