Installed windows 8 release preview.

When I'm trying to play Minecraft, because randomly halfway through the game, the game's sound will go really quiet. I have not dont any changes. I haven't even altered any sound or anything and the sound meter's still half full, but when I enter the Sound Mixer, Minecraft appears to be 1/8 of the other programs. And I haven't even edited the sound. I can make Minecraft's sound louder again but it seems to automatically go back down after a while.

How can I fix this? Thanks.

This issue only happens to Minecraft? How about other programs? You can check this thread (http://www.forumswindows8.com/sound-audio/my-computer-volume-randomly-decrease-7015.htm) to see if that works.

this arise only on mine-craft. i think some problem might overload while downloading or installing.

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall Minecraft?
