I have a laptop running with windows 8 and i turned up my microphone on skype a couple days ago and today i don't know whats wrong, my speakers sound blown but if i rub my finger over the microphone the sound will come out of the speakers, how do i turn this off? Never experienced the same with WIN 7.

Sound problems seem to be one of the chronic problems with this beta OS. Check through other threads here to see if you can find your answer.

I had a similar problem in Windows XP but not with Skype. I finally bring my laptop to its sales, their workers fixed it.
