Hi all,
If you would like to schedule a virus scan for Windows Defender at a certain time everyday, you need to use Task Scheduler.
Here is the tutorial of how to use Task Scheduler.
1. Open Control Panel and click on Administrative Tools Icon.
2. Look down the list of option and select Task Scheduler.
3. In task Scheduler look on the left hand side of the window and click on the arrow to the left of the Task Schedule Library option.
4. The menu will expand.
5. Now click on the arrow to the left of the Microsoft option.
6. again the menu will expand.
7. Now click the arrow to the left of the Windows option.
8. AS long list of items will now appear.
9. Look down the list and click on Windows Defender.
10 In the top pane of the window you should already see some windows defender schedules. Right click on the top one and select Properties.
11. In the Properties box click the Trigger tab and then press New.
12 Set your Day, Date and time and then click the OK Button.
13. finally click the OK button on the Properties Window
14. Your Schedule is now set.
