Hi,
I have installed windows 8 cp, but crashes very often.
Sometimes it hangs also and i have to shutdown and restart it again, becasue if i simply restart then problem doesn't solve it. Yesterday it happens 3 times in one hour, while i am using internet explorer to do payment.
What should I do?

I would update the latest beta OS, Win 8 RP. use the method shown here (http://www.forumswindows8.com/installation-setup/steps-install-win-8-rp-when-released-read-before-you-download-iso-file-6411.htm)exactly. Win 8 RP has fixed many of the issues with Win 8 CP. Be advised however that it is still a beta OS.

Have you checked your drivers if they are the latest? You need to update your drivers. If still cant work, just do what Ted said, re-install the OS.

Like Ted stated, it would be best to upgrade to Win 8 RP, you'll have a better experience. Plus most of the Metro Apps are working.

I should think more before I installed windows 8 CP. This beta OS disappoints me. Ok. I will install windows RP.

I would not be making "payments" in a Beta Test OS. It's full of bugs and is not even very SAFE and Secure.
I would ONLY be doing real work in a Licensed OS with ample Security Software protecting it.
A word to the wise.............

TM  TM, I beg to differ with you on this. My install of Windows 8 RP has been installed properly & is secure. It's been scanned with multiple security products, has 3 well known security products protecting it, gets daily scans (short) for threats, & a "boot time" scan weekly (in fact, one this afternoon).
It's even been scanned with the ESET Online Scanner (this is done weekly), and a weekly scan with Kaspersky's "TDSSKiller", an anti rootkit utility. All is clean.
I make purchases & make payments on the OS. However, to keep a site from running scripts on the page, using Firefox, I only give temporary permission (using NoScript) to these sites. NoScript, as you probably know, being a Firefox user yourself, is perhaps the best security feature that a browser can offer.
But keep in mind that I'm an experienced user, and wouldn't even think of making transactions if I felt that my security had holes in it. Plus, my computers, all of them, are protected by a hardware firewall through my router.
And I only make transactions using the PayPal system, which uses a "HTTPS" connection. And have had no issues with anything.
One last thing, for those who don't know already, I'm a "security freak". Meaning that I'm constantly on top of my security & am proactive in doing so. Using only well known branded security products.

I see when NoScript is enabled you have to specify (Whitelist) certain sites to allow scripting. Initially the Reply Icons were not available when I enabled NoScript, but after some playing around I got them working.

On another forum, where we were evaluating NoScript against other ad blockers, it was almost mutually agreed upon that NoScript was workable but generally a pain in the arse.
After fighting with it myself for several weeks, trying to give it every chance, I deleted it. Now I just use AdBlock+ and have no more problems with on-screen ads mucking up my screen.

TM, why did you do that? NoScript is NOT an adblocker. Adblock Plus is. You should have BOTH for maximum security running Firefox. It's well known to be one of the best security features available in a browser.
What NoScript does is prevents Java scripts from running on the page. Like say, you go to you financial institution to do a balance/transaction look, you temporarily give permission for scripts to run for the duration of the session. When you restart Firefox, this temporary rule is removed.
For Forums & sites that I frequently visit, but give out no identifying info, I simply allow for scripts permanently (I can reverse this). But sometimes, one of the other links above the one you allowed needs to be allowed as well. Yes, this can be a PITA (at first), but once one gets used to using the NoScript option like the back of their hand, no big deal.
NoScript - JavaScript/Java/Flash blocker for a safer Firefox experience! - what is it? - InformAction (http://noscript.net/)
Do some reading on this subject, I've had emails blocked (legit appearing ones) by having this technology installed in Firefox. As well as some other sites (potential clickjacking/re-direction site detected). Many AV/AM apps doesn't posses this feature.

Check out the reviews for NoScript, it's a 5 Star rated extension for Firefox.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/noscript/
And also note, those who are using the last beta, it's just as much as beta as Win 8 RP is. Although I also use that version myself. There has been times when I had to downgrade to the stable version over various issues.

I'm with TM on this. NoScript has been a real PITA. I haven't had ANY problems before installing NoScript. Lots of problems since. I just removed it. Good-bye, Adios, Sionara (Sorry TM spell check does not work for this one). I will continue without NoScript. I have up to date Images. If I have a problem I will just delete the partition and load the image.

I realize that NoScript is a PITA for some, as it takes time & patience to learn to use, the first of which I have plenty of. Being at home all of the time, this is why I took up playing with computers as a hobby, to occupy my time.
And I'm glad that I did, as it provides a much needed distraction to my condition.
No problem with me for those who doesn't use NoScript, as that is what the Mozilla Corporation is about: Freedom of choice in a browser & it's extensions. The main thing is that I don't want to see these choices taken away.
