Hi all,

I have installed win8 RP and I logged using my windows live id of Hotmail account.

When I open the mail application I am able to access the mails from Hotmail but i'm unable to add gmail accuount to it.

I have tried the way as they said to add a new account by pressing windows key+i > accounts. But after adding, when I click on accounts button a sidebar appears on the right side and it quickly dissapers in less than 2 seconds...and the same thing is happening in all apps like people and messaging.

I have uninstalld and reinstalled the mail,people and messaging app, but no use.

Please help. Thank you.

You could try adding it in the calendar app or messages app as they are all linked together.

The Metro apps are really not finished yet. That could be your whole problem. This is still a beta OS.

You could use WLM in the Desktop and have it set up to check both Hotmail and Gmail.
