My Samsung Galaxy S II for sprint keeps power cycling and i did a hard reset for a star, then i proceeded to root it but yet its doing the same thing. Does anyone know what this is possibly a hardware or warranty issue? any hints would be appreciated.

Once you rooted the phone you voided the warranty. They will not touch it otherwise.
