Ok so i was wanting to Dual boot XP and 8. I ran into a problem. I installed Xp but it would not let me choose to boot windows 8 when i started the computer. Maybe i am making a noob mistake but i don't know help me out guys and I will be very appreciative.

The older OS needs to be installed first. Win XP should be installed in the C Drive, then Win 8 CP should be installed in the next partition ( probably E or F or whatever) You have to boot to the DVD and choose a Custom Install, then point to the partition where you wish to install Win 8 CP.

The Win XP boot loader does not recognize Win 8 CP as a valid OS and will show it as blank space so if it's installed second, it's boot loader will not see Win 8 CP.

Hi Ted, thanks for your suggestion. Now WINDOWS XP and Win 8 is running on my pc :o, some IT professional installed it for me.
