My desktop icons will not respond, does anyone know what's wrong with it?

More detail is needed. What won't they do?

yeah info on what u mean and what icon u are talking about would help.
One Icon I know that u cannot move around is the HomeGroup Icon... that might just be my computer though. But when I have the HomeGroup active the icon is placed on my desktop and somehow locked there. I cant move it at all.... but I got ASC and Game Booster to remove the process and the icon is only an icon :D

But with your issue it might be that the option for "Auto Arrange Icons" is active.

Check it by

Right Clicking anywhere on your desktop background picture or wallpaper, then move the mousepointer to "View" which should be the first option from your right click menu, then see if "Auto Arrange Icons" is tagged.
Untagg it and you should be able to move your icons around.

Right click on desktop, click refresh icons.
