Why my system keeps telling me " Windows could not start the screen saver"??? Never encountered the same before. i am using windows 8 customer preview 32 bit.

You can try this for starters, although it may be a hardware driver issues.
Open the "Power Options ", in the Control Panel and check, under your plan, what you have set for " Turn Off Display." This number should be higher than your time when the Screen Saver starts.
