Hi all,

Outlook 2010 Search is disabled or crippled while Indexing.

Problem is Indexing appear to happen about once a day, and it is now interfering with the need to find stuff.

Is there any way to either speed up the indexing, or have it only manually started each time?

Never had this kind of problem with Outlook 2003 search --- alternative is to go back to Outlook 2003.

Is there another search engine that is more efficient that can be installed? Thanks.

Go to Control Panel – Programs -> Programs and Features -> Turn Windows features On/Off. Now check mark the Indexing Service check box and click Ok. Now restart computer and wait for some time until Outlook indexing status gets completed.
