It's my first post here and any hints or tips would be appreciated. Three days ago I got a new CD and it played just fine for the first time. But today when I try to play it, it just makes skipping noises. then I tried another CD, it played just fine. Why did it play once perfectly and now this?

Hopefully, it's just one bad disk causing this, it may be warped or otherwise defective. As long as it's confined to one CD, you're OK. The data on that CD may be able to be copied by using ImgBurn.

Just be sure not to copy things that aren't supposed to be copied, like movies & music.
