Do you have the problem of windows medie player?

When I tried to watch my videos in Windows Media Center on the Xbox 360 I got the message that I am missing the proper files to view the video. It then tells me to either reboot my computer or my Windows Media Center on the Xbox. I did both but it didn't fix the issue. I still got the same message. I never had this problem in Windows 7. The video files I'm trying to view are downloaded from the web in mp4 format. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is a beta OS and is not complete. I would suggest going back to Win 7 for your every day work and just using Win 8 CP for testing purposes only. This beta OS will self destruct (deactivate) shortly after the Win 8 RP is released in early June. The Win 8 RP will require a Clean Install.

You did make an Image of your Win 7 OS prior to overwriting it with a beta OS didn't you. This has been discussed repeatedly throughout these Forums. Win 8 is still in beta and will be in beta until October sometime.
