Does anyone here have the problem that Video app is a green screen. And Media centre shows black and then freezes so I think it must be a codec thing. The sound can be heared and sounds ok. I can still hear the audio though.

I haven't loaded any new software since last playing a video and I have not loaded any codecs, I'm happy using the built-in Windows codecs.

Hey pepare, please check Windows Update to make sure that you have downloaded and installed all of the latest updates, including optional updates.If it still doesn't work, please check your hardware manufacturer’s website for drivers that are compatible with Windows 8. If compatible drivers do not yet exist for your display adapter, periodically rescan for optional Windows Updates and check back at your manufacturer’s website regularly for the latest Windows 8 drivers.
