Hi all,

I installed the Windows 8 Consumer. My audio doesn't work. I went to the Gateway website and downloaded the audio driver there "Realteck 97" for my Gateway computer, still cant work. The trouble shooter tells me that one of more audio services not working.

I also tried the drivers from the Realteck website. None of them worked either.

Anyone know how to fix this?

This may be one of those same problems many are having. Win 8 CP is a beta release and is not quite finished yet. The next beta release will be in early June. perhaps there will be more drivers available at that time.

The Win 8 RP will require a Custom (Clean) install at that time.
