I guess my exprience with windows 8 is worse and worse. Since I stalled the Windows 8 Consumer Preview I no longer have any audio. I have no sound in Windows 8 Consumer Preview. In the bottom right han corner the small icon says "The Audio Service is not running" and when I click on it, It detects the problem but it does not say how to fix it.

Does anyone know how can I fix it? Please help me.

Have you checked in Device Manager to see if your sound device was found during the installation? If so were any drivers installed? What sound device do you have? Go to the manufacturer's site and see if they have drivers (I suspect not for Win 8). The Win 7 drivers may work.

This is a beta OS, and not all devices are operational yet. Beta OS's are for testing purposes and you have evidently found a problem. Did you do an upgrade install or a Custom (Clean) install? There have been many more problems reported with the upgrade than clean install.
