Howdy, all

I heard that the essentials of Microsoft security is update. I've just had notification that a new version of MSE is availible. so i will downloading now and report my issues ( if any...) i always like to share good things with others. :)

Thanks Reverend for the reply. Since this Adaware is also an antivirus, I think I will disable Microsoft Security Essentials, and install Adaware and use it for a while. I plam on keeping CCeaner, and Malwarebytes on the computer for my weekly scans. Mike

Win 8 CP includes Windows Defender which is MSE. It is enabled by default. You do not need to install any other AV app. You can leave WD enabled and still have Malwarebytes Antimalware installed to run regular manual scans. I have both as well as Spybot Search and destroy and all work well together.
