My screen saver reverts to one minute, when screen saver turned off computer still goes to one minute. I have uninstalled my ati video card and I have the same results.

I also just changed my screensaver in the group policy editor and it still starts the screensaver in 1 minute. When you go to the presonalize from the desktop it says 10 minutes grayed out and it starts after 60 seconds. On Power options it is set to dim after 5 minutes and turn off after 15 minutes.

I have my screen saver set to Blank in the Personalize screen, and the time is set to 1 minute. It seems to work fine. Have you tried that?

Yes I have. My other hp laptop is set the same way that you mentioned.

You might have to reinstall Win 8 CP. It sounds as though something did not install correctly.

I did it worked fine until I rebooted!

Hmmmm, I am out of ideas on this one. You might have to wait until the RP in late spring. Any chance the installs were upgrades, or Clean installs?
