Hi,

If you cant find Chrome Icon on desktop and taskbar, you can try this way below to fix it.

If you go to the Metro UI and Right Click on the Google Chrome tile, at the bottom of the window one of the options is open file location. Once the file location is open you can create a shortcut to the Chrome exe and move it to your desktop and pin it to the Taskbar again.
