IObit Malware Fighter is the most efficient way to keep my PC safe from internet nasties and I am planning to install it on my Windows 8, can I do that? any suggestion？

Don't know about IObit, but Malwarebytes Pro installs just fine on Windows 8. It's the best software of it's kind.

I'm not exactly crazy about IObit's products, because first, their all in one cleaner torched my XP MCE install 3 years ago, and secondly, IObit actually stole MBAM's technology & distributed it as their own. This is no different from piracy, they stole another company's hard work.

Being that I have to have 50 posts to post the proof of this, I cant, but just Google search "did iobit steal from malwarebytes", the evidence is there.

But that doesn't mean that you can't try to install the IObit software. Try to install & see. Either it'll install or won't.

From what I have seen it appears to work. Ahh.... the excitement of a new operating system!

IObit's software has apparently improved, as the new install of ASC has unleashed the hidden potential of my notebook. Boot times to a usable OS has improved, the whole system is just faster.

Not to mention the huge amounts of garbage that ASC found & cleaned. One thing to watch for, especially during deep cleaning, is look at the risk levels (low, medium, high) of possible damage of certain items that are being cleaned. I read this in the manual. This was probably the reason that I torched that XP MCE install years ago, I didn't read the instructions, & blindly deleted everything listed.

These days, I'm more particular, & read the manual or whatever documentation is provided with software before usage. I also read the EULA's that many users blindly click through.

ASC is a great product, & well worth having on my notebook. I also recommend it to everyone.
