From the MS Theme store, there are some beautiful new themes for windows 8, that are also backward compatible with windows 7.
I got the "City Lights" theme and I really love it.:o
When I have enough points (50 posts) I'll post the pictures.


Then there's another theme (can't remember the name) with beautiful landscapes.

I've been having a ball, customizing my own Desktop to closely approximate my XP desktop.
I love being able to build my own desktop, in win-8.

I installed the beach sunset theme and the sound effects are really loud and startling! Waves breaking and seagulls! I tried setting alternative sounds but they are inaudible. Very strange. Seems I'm stuck with them unless I change the whole theme.
