Hello Everyone,
I recently downloaded and installed W8 and it was great. I went to install my sound card (sound blaster aud) and it crashed. It started restarting it self and now crashed because INVALID_EXTENDED_PROCESSER and it's been going on for 3 hours now... I tired to re install my old os (xp sp3) but then it crashed with a psy error. Help please and thank you

try to restart Windows 8, and keep pressing F8 during restart, choose something like "recover to last normal situation", that may help you to recover

Try to format your C disk and reinstall XP. hope helps.

Thanks man but how can i reformat my c drive. I can't even get to the welcome screen. Also i press f8 and nothing happens... Absolutely nothing.

If you want to format your drive, please insert an windows setup DVD into your DVD drive, there is format option during installation.

The setup disk for xp?. i'll try it

It only gave me 2 options. install 3rd party software or Windows system recovery (i don't have that disk). Then it goes into installation mode and BSOD with a pci.sys error

I have found it out. It was my sound card wasn't able to use windows 8 i guess.
