I didn't use Windows 8 DP, I am using CP now. I think CP is much better than DP for CP has more 6 months development. It will be more stable and useful. Much closer to official final version of Windows 8 than DP.

thanks for the reply i`ve installed it anyway(cp).
I did not like the new boot loader on my duel system(win 7 hp and now win 8 cp) it takes over, you get back to normal duel boot by: on my system onstart up press TAB then F8 then tab to change back.
Any idea about a discount on the final product?

about the discount on the final product, there might be. As before, if you are a student, you can buy Windows with a big discount.

But here, there is my suggestion:

if you are using Windows 7, then there is no need to upgrade to Windows 8. Because except Metro UI (and things in that Metro), little difference.

But if you are using a Windows PC, Tablet and phone, you'd better use Windows 8. Because Windows 8 will make all your three devices as one!

BTW, Windows 8 may be not that expensive than before. I think it will be cheaper, because there are some other ways that Microsoft can use to earn money, such as Windows 8 AppStore.

Yes i agree apart from the metro its not worth the bother in fact i find it more awkward to use.will will continue to run duel system out of intrest and keep upto date. i never intend to by a touch screen i dislike there evryday functionability(pc use) i used to sell them in the early 90`s there great for control systems but not practcal for use at home.
thanks for the reply`s

Use EasyBCD to change your default MBR to the Win 7 MBR even if you use Win 8 CP as your default OS. The Win 7 MBR seems quicker anyway.
