I am so annoyed by windows8 media player!! It auto update and set as default player, and i couldn't disable it at all. I tried several ways to disable windows media player but every time i restart my computer it back to the previous setting!! I really have no idea.:(

You can install software to disable the media player. I installed Advanced SystemCare, you can have a try, because it really works.
