Hi guys,

I have reformatted and reinstalled windows 8 for several times but the problem still existed so far. So i think its maybe the problem of my HDD as being corrupted or messed up. The problem occurred after I accidentally hit the CPU when I was stretching my foot. The screen froze after that. with limited knowledge, i really do not know how to fix it and hope you guys can help me.

i have googled this error up but with no luck. hope you guys can come up a fix for this win 8 case.

many thanks in advance.

I get that message when I leave a flash card or other USB device plugged in.

Installing Windows8 should set the active partition correctly in your system as most Windows installations do. I bet the system is trying to boot to a flash drive that's still connected. What you might want to try to do if you unplugged your USB drive (if you have one) is to just hit ENTER on your keyboard when you get that message. Mine does that from time to time but hitting ENTER lets it boot as I suppose the system is trying from another partition or device.
