Last night it seems that my computer has encountered some weirder problem because it hang on sleep and not actually sleep fully. Then windows 8 just did a preboot scan that fixed a corrupt registry(1 entry) and now everything I personalized is wiped. All personalized informations have been wiped and i just wondering how can I get them back.

does a system restore can help me in this headache?

any help would be greatly apprecaited.
