Have you ever used Windows 8 operating system? I’m using it right now. It is rather amazing. But what struck me is that the desktop of the Windows 8 starter can not be changed. I do not know why this happened.

Here are two ways to get rid of this windows 8 nuisance. Starter Wallpaper Changer is a small and portable tool, using which you can change desktop background in Windows 8 Starter. To use it, just open the .exe file (Run as Administrator), click browse and select the wallpaper (.jpg or .jpeg format) you like to set. Click Apply. Now you need to ‘Logoff’ for letting the changes take effect. Select Restore button to get back the default wallpaper.
