hi guys,

this problem has annoying me for quite a long time and many win 8 forums solutions did not fix it so far. so i have to post here for some directly help.

different poeple all come up with almost the similiar answer that" Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Center\Advanced sharing settings and make sure 'Turn on file and printer sharing' is checked". Mine will check but when I save and reenter it is not checked. In 'manage computer' the SERVER service will not start: 'Error 1068 - The dependancy service or group failed to start'.

i have never experienced the same before updated to windows 8.

hope someone can come up soem useful suggestions, of course the detailed soluitons is much appreciated.
