plz help in this windows 8 issue.thank you for your time and i am waiting here for your help.

i am trying to connect windows 7 to the domain of a windows 2008 server.

I get this error message when trying to join the domain:

An attempt to resolve the dns name of a domain controller in the domain being joined has failed.
after searched on some windows 8 forums, i have the TCP/IP set to obtain the IP automatically and the DNS as static with the correct DNS IP. but with no luck.

any suggestion in this would be highly appreciated.
