I am using windows 8 beta 64 bit on my new laptop but can't join the domain with windows 8.

the same problem never appeared in windows XP.

does anyone know what could be causing this? many thanks in advance.

Not sure what your symptoms are. I just joined a domain with a win 8 beta desktop but had to change the computer name to do it.
