I need your help with my fresh windows 8 beta. many thanks in advance.

I am using windows 8 beta 64 bit and Vista mode on my pc. I mapped a network drive in Windows Vista but when I tried to delete the drive mapping in Vista, the drive mapping still appears and if I try to disconnect the drive, I do not get the drive letter showing in the list of drives to disconnect. When I try again to delete the drive I get a message saying: "The network connection could not be found."

But the drive still opens to the network path with no problem. can anyone explain this weirder windows 8 thing? come up with detailed instructions or informations is much better.
