Hi guys,

let's directly to the point. I have a media player box running embeded Linux. and i am using windows 8 beta 64 bit on my new pc. it is supposed to be able to access shared folders in windows. it worked perfect in Windows 7 while in windows 8 beta it is unable to access shared folders.

from the Linux box, i could see windows 8 beta on the network, and it asks for user credential. but the user account created on the Win 8 machine did not fix anymore. then it complains logon fails.

does anyone know what could be causing this? plz advice in this.
