let's directly to the point. when i am watching a video with WMP/WMC while SD card is inserted, cpu utilization will stay too high in Windows 8. like 70% instead of 20%. When I open task manager I suspect I see an exra wmp service running while sd card is inserted. I suspect it's trying to sync with SD card in the backround that's causing this.

I am really not sure whether it will be OK when i remove WMP sync option. any suggestion for this?
another question is that how to remove WMP sync option in windows 8?

Go to Services and stop "Windows Driver Foundation". Right click on it and go to Properties and change from automatic to disabled.
