Hi guys,

The computer in my home is Dell 4400 OEM with Intel Chipset, and the operating system of it is Windows 8 pro. It has been running well for a while. But this morning, when I booted the computer, a warning information popped up to indicate me that the pafefiles were too small or not exist while the computer was entering the system. And no programs can be processed. As a computer novice. I do not have any idea to solve this problem.

Pls give me some advice.

Many thanks!

I apologise, but, in my opinion, you are not right. I am assured. Let's discuss it.

I don't think you have any idea what you read.

To the OP: did anything load at all? Did Windows load? If you can get it to load, you're half way to getting the issue fixed.

I think, perhaps, you have been customising the page file?
Open the Control panel - System _.
Over on the left, open "Advanced System Settings" - "Advanced" Tab
Click Settings under the Performance tag.
Click The "Advanced" tab on the new window.
Click, under "Virtual memory" "Change"

Make sure you have the top box ticked "Automatically manage paging file size..."

Reboot and see if the message has gone.
