I have learned from my friends that the functions of Firewall of Windows 8 are very excellent. So I have installed Win 8 operating system, a genuine version, on my laptop recently. My friends told me that this firewall can be updated. So I;'m wondering that now that this firewall is so great, I have no need to install other kinds of antivirus software, such as Norton, Kaspersky, ect. Cause extra wares are of no use and it is rather boring to install them.

Are these antivirus software not in need? Pls advise!

No, the firewall in Windows 8 is rubbish. Don't trust that firewall. Just think about it, if that firewall is good enough, why people use other firewalls?

And if it is good, the court will sue Microsoft as monopoly
