Hi guys,

My laptop with newly installed win 8 OS is running well. But recently, there was always a prompt box popping up, saying that there is a program in the backstage preventing the closure of the system, each time when I tried to shut down the computer. Then there were two options: mandatory shutdown and cancel. While all windows have been closed before powering it off. And the prompt box never disappears.

Any one know what's wrong with it? Pls advise!

Have you installed some program on your pc recently? another possibility is that your system has been infected by some viruses. If it really like that, remove it.

Perhaps, you have installed some Windows 8 maintenance software that will indicate you the mandatory shutdown. I have met the same problem. You just need to wait for several seconds, then the computer will normally shut down. Do not worry!

I try what u post, but dosn-t work.... so what else can I do?
