hey guys,

Usually when I point the mouse at the cd drive icon in my computer the box stating how many kb or mb it contains, but today there is no any change. Obviously i've encountered some problem with my CD drive in windows 8. Even with little computer knowledge I also managed to go to the device driver and it say everything is ok and it is enabled. now I really do not know what to do with it.

does anyone know what could be causing this? many thanks in advance.

have you put your CD or DVD disk into the driver, if not, of course you can not see any change of its size!
